Our Children's Project operates from the premises in the heart of Extension 11 - one of Barberton’s most vulnerable communities. Since our inception, we have registered and supported over 1,400 children, providing them with a safe, caring environment and encouragement.
We are a community-focused project that brings children together through fun activities, meaningful connections, and positive guidance. Our gatherings include interactive games, inspiring and informative talks, and a free, nutritious meal for every child. Everything we do is aimed at creating a safe and supportive environment where children can feel valued, build healthy relationships, and grow in confidence and well-being.
Our key services include:
• Nutritious meals
• Food parcels for children and their families in need
• Physical and mental games
• Impact talks and life-skills development
• Home visits and follow-up support (including school uniforms, clothing, and food parcels)
In a community facing challenges such as poverty, crime, and gangsterism, Mpilo Enhle - together with the support of our generous donors - provides a safe, nurturing haven where children can experience hope, care, and opportunity.
